Τίτλος: Singularity formation in black hole interiors.
Περίληψη: Penrose’s incompleteness theorem (’65) implies that solutions to Einstein’s equations exhibit a geodesic break-down in the interior of black holes. However, it does not yield any additional information about the nature of this break-down, whether it is related to a geometric singularity, what type of singularity etc. There are a lot of comprehensive examples of black hole spacetimes and singularity formation in the literature for various spherically symmetric matter models. In this talk we will discuss recent developments which go beyond this restrictive class in vacuum.=
